End of course reflection: Creating a PLE was a informative way for me to look at where I have been, where I am at, and where I am going. I have limited online experience, and this was a good way for me to explore what may be out there. I note that it would be good for me to expand my current repertoire. On this PLE, I did increase the size of my image. That seemed to clear up the font size issue. When I created the page, I was still able to see the tools on the Venn diagram which allowed me to zoom in on the picture. Those were not visible on the 'published' page. A good lesson to look at the finished piece from the eyes of the viewer.
Personal Learning Environment
For this PLE graphic, I chose a Venn-diagram looking piece. I think this fairly represents where I am at on the e-learning spectrum. The assignment asked to use three levels and I feel as though I will continue to utilize almost all of the items during my e-learning career, so I chose a diagram that would reflect that thought process. The overlapping of the levels is an accurate representation as it is a continual learning process for what I am using now, what I am experimenting with, and what I will use in the future. With "me" at the center, I can choose whether or not to carry over what I am currently using or experimenting with into my future.
Currently I am utilizing a wide resource of people. Two main people stick out in my mind as I know them to have vast knowledge in the e-learning field. I am also using social media as a way to stay in touch with the evolving world. I have experimented with Moodle and Google Classroom as possible online classroom options. In the future, I would like to continue my knowledge of social media, especially in relation to e-learning by joining online groups. I also researched e-learning newsletters. Although most were related to the business field, they provide good examples of what the e-learning future may bring. In the future I will also continue my knowledge in relation to Moodle and Google Classroom, as well as utilize my current sources.
